There is something potentially dangerous about a full tank of gas.
A full tank of gas and the right song.
Seemingly endless possibilities.
An open road.
Keep it between the lines and you can go anywhere.
Don’t go too fast and no one can stop you.
The whirring of the tires.
The rhythm of the road.
The rhythm of the song.
One foot maintaining momentum, the other keeping time.
Never looking back, always looking forward.
The past grows smaller in the rear view mirror.
There are lights upon the horizon.
I drive.
If I were to hit a deer, it would be a real buzz-kill to my awesome road trip.
