Footprints

Remember that classic piece of motivational spiritual writing called Footprints in the Sand?  It is everywhere.  It is on bumper stickers, posters, plaques and various other forms of paraphernalia.  I saw it today in a dentist’s office on a poster that was attached to the ceiling.  As I reclined and my mouth was invaded by metallic intruders, I read it for the millionth time and and I came to this conclusion — whoever was the author of that piece is probably hating the fact that they signed it anonymous.
